CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team was tabbed second in the Mid-American Conference Coaches' Preseason poll, the league office announced Wednesday, Dec. 3.
The reigning MAC indoor and outdoor champions tallied 21 points, as EMU was selected to finish second in the conference for the second straight season, once again sitting behind unanimous conference champion selection Akron. The Zips collected the maximum 30 points allowed in the preseason poll. Buffalo, Central Michigan, and Kent State rounded out the poll, as the Bulls garnered 17 points in the preseason rankings, while both the Chips and Golden Flashes earned 16 points.
