NEW ORLEANS, La. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team nabbed United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors for the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons, the association announced Thursday, July 26. EMU earned the recognition both as a team and on the individual level.
Along with the three student-athletes who were placed on the All-Academic team, Eastern claimed the achievement as a team for the second straight year.
In order for a team to garner the distinction, it must carry a team grade point average of 3.
