Men's Golf Posts the Lowest 18-Hole Round in School-History

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team wasted no time picking up where they left off last spring, as the squad kicked off the 2019-20 campaign today, Sept. 9, at the 50th Annual Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational. After posting a seven-under 280 to open the two-day tournament, Head Coach Bruce Cunningham's bunch posted the lowest 18-hole round in program history with a nine-under 272. The previous standard of 273 was set in the second round of the Georgetown Intercollegiate, Oct. 18, 2010.

Overall, EMU resides in third-place with a 36-hole score of 552 (280-272) on the par 71, 6,573-yard Guyan Golf & Country Club course.
