MUSKEGON, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University men's cross country team stays in the state of Michigan to take part in the Jayhawk Invitational Friday, Oct. 12 in Muskegon. EMU is coming off two weeks with no competition.
Last time out the Green and White took sixth place at the Western Ontario Invitational, Sept. 22. Junior team captain Austin Wicker (Pinckney, Mich. –Pinckney) led the squad finishing 21st with a career-best 8K time of 24:58. The final four scorers for EMU were all first-year runners debuting in their first collegiate 8k.
