The No. 27 ranked Eastern Michigan men’s cross country team claimed their seventh consecutive Mid-American Conference Championship on Saturday, Oct 29 in Kent, Ohio.
The record setting 15 points by the Eagles was eight points fewer than the previous record of 23, which was a record set by the Eagles in 2006 and 2014. The Eagles absolutely owned the Championship, scoring 48 points less than the second place Miami.
The top 5 slots were all held by Eastern Michigan runners, with senior Nick Raymond finishing 1st overall with a time of 25:10.0, junior Hlynur Andresson finishing 2nd overall with a time of 25:10.
