YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University men's basketball and first-year Head Coach Stan Heath signed James "Monty" Scott (Union, N.J.-St. Benedict's Prep (Portland State)) to the team's 2021-22 roster, the team announced today, June 22.
Scott hails from Union, N.J. and will join the Eagles after spending the 2020-21 season at Portland State University. The guard will be considered a graduate student in the classroom, but a senior athletically for the 2021-22 campaign.
"Monty is a scorer and is a great all-around player. He can get baskets in a lot of different ways: three-point shooting, mid-range, and getting to the basket," said Heath.
