CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Junior distance runner Jordann McDermitt (Davison, Mich. - Davison) of the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team was selected as the Mid-American Conference Track Athlete of the Week, the league office announced today, April 4.
McDermitt had a historic performance at the Stanford Invitational this past week, March 31. The Davison, Mich. native competed in the 10000m run invite, finishing 13th and turning in the best 10000m time in program history. McDermitt was able to cross the finish line in 33:37.
