YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Cyril Martynov (Barrie, Ontario-Lawrenceville (N.J.)-Georgia Tech), a 7-foot center, has transferred into the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball program and has been added to the 2023-24 roster, Head Coach Stan Heath announced today, April 26. Martynov will have three years of eligibility for the Eagles.
"We are excited to have Cyril," Smith said of the newest Eagle. "He gained a year of experience at Georgia Tech and he is someone we followed in high school from Canada. One of things we needed to address is having more size, a presence inside, and more rebounding and he is someone that can do those things.
