YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - From Mackinac Island to Campus Martius, there are plenty of unique attributes to living in the state of Michigan. This year, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics plans to showcase and celebrate many of the homegrown aspects of Michigan life during the inaugural Made In The Mitten game Saturday, Oct. 13, against the University of Toledo. Game time will be announced 12-days prior to kickoff.
Why the mitten you ask? When someone asks us where we live, we hold up our hand and use it as a map, since Michigan is shaped like a mitten.
