YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Senior Logan Burton (Chesapeake, Va.-Hickory) of the Eastern Michigan University men's swimming and diving team was named the CollegeSwimming.com Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the Week for the period ending Dec. 4, after his dominating performance at the EMU Invitational Friday-Saturday, Dec. 1-2. Burton, who received the CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major award earlier this season, is the second Eagle to earn the accolade this season, joining junior Tosh Kawaguchi.
During the two-day event, Burton was part of a handful of record-breaking swims and had a pair of individual event wins.
