CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - For the third time this season, the Eastern Michigan University volleyball team earned multiple Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week honors. Senior Alyssa LaFace (Allen Park, Mich.-Allen Park) was named the MAC West Defensive Player of the Week, while redshirt senior Mallory Rajewski (Midland, Mich.-Midland) and junior Riley Taylor (Indianapolis, Ind.-Perry Meridian) were collectively named MAC West Setter of the Week, the league office announced Monday, Sept. 24.
LaFace churned out an amazing two-game stretch in Eastern's 2-0 opening to Mid-American Conference play to be named Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
