CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly lacrosse honors, March 28, with Eastern Michigan University sweeping the accolades while earning the first player of the week honors in program history. Mackenzie Blackwell (North Beach, Md.-Northern) was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week while Sydney Lawrence (Wylie, Texas-Plano Senior-Oregon) was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week following their impressive performances last week.
"Mac and Syd have put in an incredible amount of work, both on and off the field, and this recognition reflects their efforts," Head Coach Sara Tisdale said.
