(EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University lacrosse team put up nine goals in a 19-9 setback to the Golden Flashes of Kent State University, Wednesday, April 12, on Scicluna Field. Sydney Lawrence (Wylie, Texas-Plano Senior-Oregon) led the team with six points on five goals and one assist while also posting two more caused turnovers to add to her Mid-American Conference leading total.

The Green and White opened the scoring as Lawrence netted home the first three goals of the day for her fourth hat trick in a first quarter that saw the score even four times.
