CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior men's golfer Kyle Rodes (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) was named the Mid-American Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the period ending Sept. 29. This marks the first time in his career he has collected the weekly award.
Rodes led the way for Eastern at the Windon Memorial, Sept. 25-26, shooting a two-under, 70, in the final round at North Shore Country Club. Rodes tied for second overall with a total score of 212 (76-66-60=212), good for four-under in three rounds. It marked Rodes' second career top-five finish and his first since a runner-up showing at the 2016 Mid-American Conference Championship, April 28-30.
