CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – Accolades continue to roll in for Eastern Michigan University softball senior Michelle Kriegshauser (New Lenox, Ill.-Lincoln Way Central), as the Eagles' right fielder was named the Mid-American Conference Scholar Athlete of the Week for the period ending May 7, the league office announced Wednesday, May 10.
The MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honor is presented weekly to a MAC male and female student-athlete who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and performs well during the week's competition.
Earning the award for the first time in her career, Kriegshauser adds to a week that has already seen her garner MAC West Division Player of the Week, as well as Second Team All-MAC honors.
