YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan-Northern Illinois football game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2, will kick off at 1:30 p.m. CT and will be shown on ESPN+, the Mid-American Conference announced today, Sept. 20. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb, Ill.
The Eagles and Huskies have met 51 times in their respective histories in a series that dates back to 1927. NIU holds a strong lead in the all-time tally, going 33-16-2, including winning 11 of the last 13 contests.
Eastern has won the previous two meetings in the series.
