YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball program and Head Coach Fred Castro announced the hiring of its newest assistant coach, Ke'Sha Blanton, today, May 3. Blanton comes to Ypsilanti after a three-year stint as the Associate Head Coach at Oakland University. She also spent time as the Golden Grizzlies' acting head coach on multiple occasions.
"Ke'Sha brings a wealth of knowledge to our program after spending the better part of the last two season's in the acting head coach role at Oakland," said Castro. "She knows our league well due to her time at Miami, and her basketball acumen and recruiting ties will be a huge asset to our program.
