CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — On the heels of a pair of clean sheets, Eastern Michigan University junior goalkeeper Kaylin Williams (Kansas City, Mo.-Winnetonka) reeled in Mid-American Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors for the period ending Oct. 22, the league office announced Tuesday, Oct. 24.
It is the third time Williams has garnered the weekly award in her career, including the second time this season. The conference's announcement marks the first time EMU has won the award multiple times in a season since 2014 when Angela Vultaggio and Megan McCabe were honored by the MAC.
