YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Karen Del Carpio, the assistant director of operations for the University of Central Florida's men's basketball team for the past two seasons, has been named to a similar position at Eastern Michigan University, Head Coach Fred Castro announced today, Oct. 17.
Her primary responsibilities as EMU director of operations will include coordinating Eastern's travel arrangements, budget, marketing, community service, camps equipment, supervising the managerial staff, and various other administrative duties.
"Karen has a great deal of experience having handled DOBO responsibilities at UCF for four years," Castro added.
