CELEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University senior women's track and field athlete Jasmine Jones (Greensburg, Pa.-Hempfield Area) earned Mid-American Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors for the period ending April 15, the league office announced Tuesday, April 17. This is Jones' second time earning the honors this outdoor season.
The Hempfield Area product had a busy weekend at the Tennessee Relays Thursday-Saturday, April 12-14, in Knoxville, Tenn. Throughout the duration of the meet, the senior captain participated in the 200m and 400m, as well as the 400 and 600 relays.
