Huskies' Hot Second Half Downs Eagles in Boston

BOSTON, Mass. (EMUEagles.com) – After a hot-shooting first half, the Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team was unable to keep pace with Northeastern University in the second stanza and ultimately fell, 81-67, at the hands of the Huskies in Matthews Arena.

EMU (4-5) shot a blistering 68-percent from the floor in the first half, and took a three-point lead into the break. Unfortunately for the Eagles, NU (4-4) came out in the second half on a mission, shooting 61-percent from the floor and ultimately pulling away for the victory.
