(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team dropped its third consecutive game against Kent State University with a 7-3 defeat at Oestrike Stadium, Sunday afternoon, April 17, in Mid-American Conference action. The Flashes (26-10, 9-3 MAC) used the strength of three home runs to complete the weekend sweep.
Highlighting the day on offense for EMU (13-20, 5-4 MAC) was senior Mitchell McGeein (Calgary, Alberta-Vauxhall) who cranked his fifth home run of the season, a solo shot. It was also his 24th of his EMU career, which moved him up in a tie for 12th place on the all-time list.
