LONG BEACH, Calif./NORWALK, Calif. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team began competition in California yesterday, April 15, with two meets. The Eagles did extremely well at both, taking home a number of event titles while recording a total of six personal bests.
Beginning with the Beach Pacific Coast Invite, sophomore Jasmine Jones (Greensburg, Pa. – Hempfield Area) led the Eagles in the sprints, taking gold in the 100m dash with a personal-best time of 11.94.
