CINCINNATI, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team kicked off the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational today, April 1, with the hammer throw. The Eagles were very successful in their lone event on the day, as the group claimed two of the top-three spots. Following one day of competition, EMU sat in third place as a team with a total of 17 points.
The Eagles posted a pair of top-three finishes in the hammer throw, with redshirt senior Keith Williams (Sherman, Ill. – Williamsville) claiming the event title with an impressive mark of 60.
