Golf in Third After Day One of Georgetown Intercollegiate

BEALLSVILLE, Md. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team sits in third-place following 36 holes at the 32nd annual Georgetown Intercollegiate Monday, Oct. 17, at the Members Club at Four Streams. Senior Kyle Rodes (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) and junior Nic Ross (Dundas, Ontario, Canada-Highland Secondary) lead the Eagles in a three-way tie for fifth.

The duo reversed scores in each round with Rodes posting a 70 and 69 for a tally of 139, while Ross opened with a 69 before adding a 70. Senior Joey Kremer (Toronto, Ontario, Canada-Senator O'Connor) follows close behind with a 144 (72-72) in a tie for 17th.
