JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team followed up a solid opening day with another fantastic performance at the NCAA East Regional, today, May 27. The final event on the day proved to be the highlight, as the Eagles earned their first qualification to the NCAA Championships, which will take place June 8-11.
The Green and White began the day in the pole vault with a pair of Eagles competing for a ticket to Eugene for the NCAA Championships. Leading the way for Eastern was senior Ellie Braidic (Pandora, Ohio – Pandora-Gilboa), who placed 24th after finishing with a vault of 4.
