AVON, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team landed two players on the 2016 Mid-American Conference All-Tournament team the conference announced today, May 29. Senior Augie Gallardo (Hemet, Calif.-Hemet (Mt. San Jacinto College)) and redshirt junior Michael Mioduszewski (Dexter, Mich.-Dexter) were named to the 10-player list. They are the first Eagles named to the team since 2011.
Gallardo, in his final EMU appearance, pitched one of the best games of his career in a 6-1 win over Toledo, May 27. The right hander tossed his first career complete game, while only allowing one run on five hits while striking out six.
