Four-Run Finale Not Enough for Baseball at CMU

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team concluded its four-game, Mid-American Conference series with in-state rival Central Michigan University today, May 23, inside Theunissen Stadium. Despite early success for EMU, it was CMU that emerged victorious, 8-4.

Offensively, four Eagles combined to contribute eight of Eastern's (20-27, 14-21 MAC) 12 hits. The game's four EMU RBIs were also split evenly among a group of four Eagles.

On the mound, Eastern used four hurlers to work through the contest. On in relief, sophomore Cameron Wagoner (Tecumseh, Mich.-Tecumseh) showed off his strong arsenal during his four innings of work.
