Four Eagles Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – Four members of the Eastern Michigan University women's golf team were named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), the organization announced today, June 29. The Green and White were one of eight Mid-American Conference schools to have multiple student-athletes recognized.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50. EMU's four selections come from a list of 1,401 student-athletes from all levels of NCAA competition.

Eastern Michigan's honorees include junior Preaw Sripatrprasite (Bangkok, Thailand-Siam International), and seniors Maria Connelly (Waterville, Ohio-Anthony Wayne), Katelin Lawson (Milford, Mich.
