Bond earned the title as a member of the RGV Vipers, affiliate of the Houston Rockets
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – One of Eastern Michigan University's own is celebrating championship success, as 2018 EMU graduate and men's basketball alumnus Tim Bond helped the Rio Grande Valley Vipers clinch their fourth NBA G League title over the Easter Holiday Weekend. The team finished with a 24-10 overall record and defeated the Delaware Blue Coats in the championship series.
The NBA G League is the National Basketball Association's official minor league, preparing players, coaches, officials, trainers, and front-office staff for the NBA while acting as the league's research and development laboratory.
