YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football team begins its quest for back-to-back bowl appearances Tuesday, Aug. 1, as the players report to training camp. The team's first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 9:30 a.m.
Due to the AAU Junior Olympic Games taking place at Rynearson Stadium, the Eagles will host their first four practices away from home at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex & Retreat Center located in Xenia, Ohio, Aug., 2-5. Following Saturday's practice, EMU make the 213-mile journey back to campus.
With the elimination of two-a-days in preseason practice and the lengthening of camp, EMU will don full pads for the first time on Monday Aug.
