YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University football team learned its home and away opponents for the eight-game Mid-American Conference portion of the 2017 season, as announced by the league office. Dates, times and broadcast information for those matchups will be released at a later date.
The Eagles will host Ball State, Bowling Green, Ohio and Western Michigan. Road games will be at Central Michigan, Miami, Northern Illinois and Toledo.
Eastern Michigan opens the season at home against Conference USA foe University of North Carolina Charlotte, Sept. 1. EMU will then hit the road for the remainder of its non-conference tilts, first traveling to Big Ten opponent Rutgers University, Sept.
