CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference announced Monday, April 2, that five members of the Eastern Michigan University wrestling team have been named to the Academic All-MAC team. EMU had the third most members on the team behind Kent State (9) and Central Michigan (6).
The five to earn the honor were redshirt senior Kyle Springer (New Boston, Mich.-Davenport Assumption (Indiana)), redshirt juniors Derek Hillman (Woodhaven, Mich.-Woodhaven), and Kayne MacCallum (Libertyville, Ill.-Green Oaks), and redshirt sophomores Zac Carson (Akron, Ohio-Lake) and Noah Gonser (Grand Blanc, Mich.
