YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team came away with a much-needed win over Northern Illinois University, 74-72, tonight, Feb. 22, inside the George Gervin GameAbove Center.

Freshman Noah Farrakhan (Newark, N.J.-The Patrick School (East Carolina)) was the 'X factor' tonight as he dropped a career-high 31 points to pace all scorers and dished out four assists. Classmate Mo Njie (Centerville, Ohio-Centerville (DME Sports Academy)) produced personal-bests in points (16), field goals made (6), field goals attempted (8), and free throw attempts (7).
