EMU Well-Represented at World University Rowing Championships

SHANGHAI, China (EMUEagles.com) — After months of training at the Eastern Michigan University Boathouse, the Eagles were well-represented on the United States World University Championships rowing team in Shanghai, China, Aug. 10-12. EMU Head Coach Kemp Savage led the squad while his assistant, Julie Quoss, also filled the same role for the team.

The Eagles also had three athletes compete as assistant coaches Emily Wasz and Delaney McGuire and rising junior Amanda Flora partook in the championships. Wasz was a member of the Varsity 8, Flora a member of the Varsity 4, and McGuire rowed in the Lightweight Double Sculls.
