TOLEDO, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team struggled on the road against the University of Toledo Friday, Oct. 27, hitting just .133 in the match and getting swept, 0-3 (25-21, 16-25, 19-25) at Savage Arena.
EMU was out-hit (.133-.258), out-blocked (3-6), out-aced (2-5) and out-dug (59-66) by Toledo, as the Eagles suffered their most lopsided loss in Mid-American Conference play.
Junior Cassie Haut (Monroe, Mich.-St. Mary Catholic Central) was a bright spot for the Eagles' offense, finishing with a season-high 13 kills and attacking at a .393 percentage.
