CHICAGO (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern University volleyball team opened its weekend at the Chicago State Tournament with a split of Day One, sweeping Southeast Missouri State (28-26, 25-23, 25-22), 3-0 before falling to host Chicago State (22-25, 25-22, 25-18, 18-25, 13-15), 3-2 Friday, Sept. 15.
Junior Mallory Rajewski (Midland, Mich.-Midland) reached an impressive milestone with her 26 assists in the Eagles' win over SEMO, eclipsing the 1,500 mark for her career. Adding the 35 assists she amassed in the second match of the day, Rajewski has now climbed into the Eagles' Top 10 all-time list, passing Sandy Burke for 10th all time.
