LEXINGTON, Ky. (EMUEagles.com) – For the 16th consecutive season, the Eastern Michigan University volleyball program was recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for academic excellence with the United States Marine Corps (USMC)/AVCA Team Academic Award, the organization announced today, July 20. The Green and White ended the 2019-20 academic year with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30.
"Winning the AVCA Team Academic Award has become one of our greatest yearly goals and the 16-year win streak is one of our proudest traditions," said Head Coach Darcy Dorton. "Each year, we look forward to sharing this with our alumni and celebrating the tradition they began.
