CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Mid-American Conference announced announced the 2021-22 Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team today, April 19. A total of 44 student-athletes were named to the men's team and 181 were named to the women's squad.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
Kent State University paced the women's programs with 23 student-athletes on the list, as Central Michigan University (21) and the University of Akron (20) rounded out the top three.
