EAST LANSING, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University track & field program wrapped up its time at the Spartan Invitational today, April 2, at the Ralph Young Track & Field Facility.
How It Happened
For the second consecutive meet, senior Kadian Clarke (Kingston, Jamaica-Immaculate Conception) set a school record in the shot put. Today, Clarke topped her previous best of 15.51m with a 15.63m heave to take first in the competition. The veteran thrower also made a splash in the discus, placing third with a personal-best mark of 45.
