(EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team continued Mid-American Conference play with a sweep at home against Kent State University Saturday, Sept. 22 inside the Convocation Center. EMU's 2-0 start against MAC competition is its best start to conference action since the 2010 season.
Eastern applied the pressure early and never let up, delivering KSU its second straight MAC loss, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19.
Senior Jordan Smith (Solon, Iowa-Solon) and redshirt junior Cassie Haut (Monroe, Mich.-St. Mary Central Catholic) led the Eagles' attack, with each recording nine kills.
