YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — It was another record-setting season in both athletics and academics for Eastern Michigan University student-athletes in 2015-16. Over the next three days EMUEagles.com will take a look back at all the awards and accomplishments on the field, in the classroom and throughout the community. Today's first installment reviews all the athletic achievements from the previous year.
The Eagles finished near the top in the battle for the Mid-American Conference all-sports championships. The women's athletic program turned in a runner-up showing in the race for the Jacoby Trophy, while the men's athletic program turned in a fourth-place finish in the battle for the Reese Trophy.
