YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University Head Softball Coach Melissa Gentile and the Eagles signed 17-year old Alyssa Feiler of Brighton, Mich. to a ceremonial letter of commitment Monday night, Jan. 30. Alyssa, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth, will join the Green and White through Team IMPACT.
"We are thrilled to partner with Team IMPACT and bring Alyssa onto our team," Gentile said. "In a very short time, she has captured our hearts. We feel very blessed to have her in our lives. Today is a celebration for the Eagle program, as we bring in someone with the raw love of life and passion for others that we all hope to be.
