JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) - Six student-athletes from the Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team begin their journey to qualify for the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas, June 5-8, at the NCAA East Regional Championships on the campus of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. May 23-25.

The Eagles who qualified for the 2019 East Regionals are seniors Nick Herbert (Portage, Mich.-Portage Northern), Alex Jacobs (Dublin, Ohio-Dublin Jerome), Tyler Underwood (Clinton, Mich.-Clinton), and Derek Ziegenfuss (Allentown, Pa.
