EMU Hoops' Second Half D Stymies USF in 65-47 Victory

TAMPA, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team rode a stellar defensive effort in the second half to down the University of South Florida 61-47 Sunday, Nov. 26 at the USF Sun Dome.

The Eagles (5-2) stymied the Bulls (4-3) to a meager 24 percent (6-of-25) from the floor and 0 percent (0-for-10) from beyond the arc in the second half. Meanwhile, EMU shot 44 percent (10-for-23) from the floor and connected on 46 percent (5-for-11) from downtown.
