EMU Fans Enjoy Great Bowl Game Experience in Detroit

DETROIT, Mich. -- Eastern Michigan University fans turned out in droves Thursday night, Dec. 26, to cheer on its football team, helping establish a new Quick Lane Bowl attendance record of 34,765. The Quick Lane Bowl, played at Detroit's Ford Field, featured the Eastern Michigan University Eagles vs. the University of Pittsburgh Panthers.

Eastern, which led for much of the game, ended up on the losing end of a 34-30 score following a Pitt touchdown with less than one minute remaining. Eastern amassed 438 total yards of offense against the nation's 11th ranked defense.
