CHICAGO (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team traveled to Chicago Sunday, Feb. 3, for a matchup with the University of Illinois-Chicago, but came up short, 195.000-193.075.
On bars, EMU was led by sophomore Cortney Bezold (Maineville, Ohio.-Bishop Fenwick) score of 9.800, good for second. Fellow sophomore Jada Rondeau (Norwood Young America, Minn.-Central) followed up tied for third with 9.750.
Moving to the second rotation, Eastern held the first and second-place spots as junior Allie Smith (Telford, Pa.
