EMU Falls 5-2 at Home Against MAC Leader

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team dropped its third straight Sunday, April 3, when it hosted Ball State University at the Chippewa Racquet Club for a Mid-American Conference dual match. The Eagles (3-13, 0-3 MAC) dropped the doubles point and were able to salvage two of the five singles matches, falling, 5-2, to the Cardinals (16-2, 3-0).

In doubles action, the Eagles were unable to grab a point, dropping two-of-three matches. The No. 3 doubles team of Renu Sharma and Alejandra Barcelo Almoyna were first to fall, 6-1, to Ball State's Carmen Blanco and Bethany Moore.
