Head coach Fred Castro and the Eastern Michigan University’s women’s basketball team won their season home opener 68-50 over the Ferris State University Bulldogs, Wednesday afternoon at the Convocation Center.
Despite the struggles offensively from the Eagles, junior guard Sasha Dailey led EMU with 28 points to go along with nine rebounds and five steals. “Sasha continues to impress,” said coach Fred Castro. “Three games now with big time numbers and we’re really happy for her and she’s helping us and really coming off the bench gives us that spark – I think the best is in store for her.
