YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Multiple programs from Eastern Michigan University athletics participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's Sunday, Oct. 8, at Washtenaw Community College in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research.

This year, EMU's gymnastics, men's and women's cross country and track & field programs, as well as the swim & dive team, all volunteered at the event. This served as the third consecutive year the gymnastics team participated in the walk.
